This is one of those cake base for many other more advanced cake making, say cake classy. It is simple to make, delicious and healthy (relatively speaking). Can be a little treat with afternoon tea. (need to have a better picture… next time when I make it!)
Ingredients
- 4 eggs (or 5)
- 40g milk
- 40g (or 30g) oil
- 70g flour
- 20g+40g of sugar
- Lemon
Instructions
- Separate egg white with yolk
- Put 20g sugar into egg yolk, manually mixed
- Add oil, mix, add milk, mix
- Add sifted flour
- Add drops of lemon into egg white, mix until bubbled
- Add 1/3 of the 40g sugar, mix further, until dense, add 1/3 again, mix further, until denser, add 1/3 again
- Mix until texture can be triangled
- Add 1/3 of the mixed egg white into the mixed egg yolk
- Stir gently and add another 1/3, then another 1/3
- Drop the mixture in the container from tall to avoid bubbles
- Put in Oven
- 250F, 40 min
- 300F, 10 min
- 250F, 5~10 min
- Flip to a stage to cool down
