Chicken Soup

This is another healthy meal of us. Whenever we have eaten too much red meats, this is an alternative 😂Love the soup itself, I do not eat any chicken meat in it, all for Eric 😍

Ingredients

  • 1 small chicken (we use cornish hen)
  • 3-4 sliced ginger
  • 5-6 piece of green onion
  • 1 spoon of cooking liquor
  • 2-3g salt
  • White pepper
  • 5-6 dates
  • 20-30 pieces of wolfberry (Gou Qi) (optional)

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken thoroughly multiple times with clean water.
  2. Cut the chicken in pieces, go through water to remove the blood a few times.
  3. Twist the green onion and put both green onion and ginger into the chicken with cold water.
  4. Add other Ingredients (cooking liquor, salt, white pepper) into the water.
  5. Boil everything with high heat, remove the foam, turn the heat to low.
  6. Put the lid and stew for a an hour.
  7. Put dates and salt, stew for another half an hour (or if you are in a hurry, 30-40 min will do as well).
  8. (optional) Put wolfberry, stew for another 10 min.
