Eric and I spend quite a bit of our entertainment time watching movies and TV shows. IMDB rating has been a good reference (though some friends recommend also looking at Rotten Tomatoes, we just get used to IMDB), anything below 6 is definitely not good (of course there is outlier from time to time but very rare…). Good movies/TV shows are those you do not forget easily (I meant years!) and you have the desire to watch them again and again and again…

What a beautiful move (beautiful music, beautiful actor/actress, beautiful story)! Dream and reality does not always end up in the same place but it will all work out eventually beautifully.

For anybody who has a thing about fashion, this is the movie. Not only the main actresses are great in acting as well as looking, but also the taste of outfits are just extraordinary, it is a super vision candy storm! 😍

The story is not much different from many other inspiring movies but the acting is just excellent. Without surprise with AH, he made the character so lively that you get pumped up throughout the whole movie, really a great one!

All time classic! The feel of western world in early years is so vivid. The figure of the good, the bad and the ugly becomes references for many other fields.

This movie made me laugh till my belly hurts 😂It is really funny and the acting is just fantastic, particularly with a pinch of French!!

Three things make this TV show my favorite: 1) shot at a very very very beautiful place; 2) main actor and actress are just so eye-pleasing but also normal; 3) the pace of the story line is slow but just right for my appreciation at relaxing time.

There are many medical related TV series (e.g. Grey’s Anatomy) but we like this one in particular, partially because the idealization of the main character (fearless pursuit of what a doctor’s goal despite the established system) but also the acting and look of the players are all pleasant.
