The good news is that PJ does not like much to have stuff on her body, so we save a lot on not needing to buy her clothes (actually every time we try to put any coat on her, she get very irritated). Also the fact that Husky has double coated fur, we do not worry much that she gets cold or something, all good. The only coat we need is a good raincoat, given the rainy weather here. Here you go!

As a dog owner, the worst nightmare that can happen to you is that your dog runs off and can not find his/her way back to you. Our friend Judy has lost one of her dogs once and that experience is devastating – luckily they found her but you will never want to go through that! After that, they bought this little IoT device and they recommended to us. We instantly purchased it, particularly Husky is known for running off (congratulations Husky owners! yet another great challenge😂). This gives us a great deal of comfort not too worrying about this. The little device not only track the location but also it provides some indications of the health of your dog, like licking, water drinking, sleeping, … Very very useful. Another feature we use a lot is the daily goal. We have set a goal for her in terms of exercise time, and the App will remind you that you need to take her out for a walk if you haven’t met the goal, this keeps us in check. And also help to keep her on a healthy habit. To say the least, this is a great investment for your loved furry friend!
Whistle GO/GO Explore/Twist & Go Pet Collars
Dog Collar is a bit easy to pick, it needs to be strong enough not to break when the dog pull (safety risk), it needs to look nice, that’s it. Over the year, we have purchased many collars for PJ, just for the look (different color, different pattern, different materials). They all work reasonably well. We recommend this one specifically because 1) it comes with a mount for the Whistle Go device (for other collar, you just need to mount it with the holder comes with the device but we never used it). 2) the quality is pretty good (we love quality product!), highest among all the collars we have purchased. 3) the design is simple and elegant. They do not have many variation of color and designs, which they probably could do more. Otherwise, this thing works like a charm. We have purchased two just to alternate in case one gets dirty and needing to wash.
Prong Collar for Dogs with Quick Release Buckle
Husky is a very energetic breed, and training can be very tricky because they pull a lot when you take them out. This also poses risk for your shoulder and arm. The concept of Prong Collar was introduced to us by a dog trainer, and it sounds safe (and nice enough to the dog) so we tried it. We have purchased a few, but some are not very easy to assemble, or they do not look nice at all. Finally we found this one, little rainbow color, looks nice and works well too. We have been using it for more than a year without any problem.

To start, the most important requirement for us in terms of leash is, it needs to be super strong! PJ has chewed off enormous leashes (10+) since we got her so the worry is that the leash breaks down when you take her out then she ran off or she went “harassed” other people or dog (all these are non-acceptable consequences). Finally we settled on this one, very strong, good length, and many color variations. We have purchased black, blue, pink, red, green. Enough to go with different mode for a week 😍😎

You got enough furs to make pillows, bedding, … anything need stuffing 🤣 Twice a year, you are going to be buried in fluffy furs…Furs in the air, in your eyes, in your nose, in your ears, in your mouth, on cloths, on furniture, in the food! During the shedding period, we brush PJ daily with it so the spread of fur is controlled better… It works like a charm, although I must say PJ does not really like it much, she just does not like anything touch her fur/skin! Handson Pet Grooming Gloves for Shedding & Bathing
A quick and handy set of gloves to reduce the fur spreading, works pretty well. We also use it when we give bath to PJ, it helps to clean a bit deeper to get into the thick fur. It dries quickly as well. We bought two sets, one for Eric and one for me.
Finding the right fit raincoat for PJ has been a challenge, and a raincoat is a must given how much rain it is here. She is a big baby, and it is very hard to take measurements of her because she keeps biting the ruler! After purchased and returned a few, we found this one works very well for her because: 1) size is just right, that little elastic hook on the tail anchor the coat well; 2) it is very easy to put it on her (so save us some biting on hands); 3) it is very easy to clean and quick to dry.
